The Nike Epic React Flyknit Women’s Running Shoe is a highly comfortable shoe that provides support and cushioning for any length of run. The Nike React foam cushion system is reactive yet light, protective yet giving. These opposing forces create a feeling that not only improves the sensation of running, but makes moving feel fun, too.
The Nike React sneaker feels incredibly springy. As your forefoot lands, the foam reacts to the force of your landing by snapping back. The more force you put into your running, the more energy you get in return. In comparison to the equally soft Nike Lunarlon cushioning, you get 13% more energy return with React.
The foam outsole reveals the tough work and wear of many kilometres, yet it resists compression and keeps its form. Based on testing with top athletes like Galen Rupp, the trainer’s cushioning still feels like new after around 300 miles. It’s like you get that exciting, out-of-the-box experience with every session.
Flyknit material moulds to the shape of your foot, creating a snug, hug-like feel. With the bootie-style construction, the tongue is seamlessly part of the upper. This eliminates the pressure a traditional tongue puts on the top of your foot. Combined with the light soft feeling of React underfoot, it feels incredibly good to run.
To keep the sneaker as light as possible, traction is placed only where needed. Based on data, rubber bits on the toe and heel help you grip the ground and push off.
This shoe is most suitable for running but can also be used for a range of cardio activities.
