After the success of her first collaboration with PUMA, British designer Sophia Webster has linked up again with the German sports brand to launch a princess-themed collection. The latest PUMA x Sophia Webster capsule includes newly designed shoes and slides showcasing metallic detailing.
The new range features glittery iterations of the ‘Classic Suede’ and ‘Basket’ silhouettes. Also launching is the all-new ‘Muse Echo,’ which comes with a pastel, ombre knit upper. In addition, the collection includes a new take on the ‘Platform’ design in teal and the ‘Leadcat’ slip-on slides in a millennial pink colour option.
The new PUMA x Sophia Webster collection is releasing on the 17th March at select PUMA retailers. Look out for the second drop which will be hitting shelves on the 12th May. The second batch is rumoured to be more summer focused.
The Puma / Webster combo was super-successful the first time around, selling out in just over 24 hours in 2017. It had been Webster’s first time ever designing streetwear. “Designing apparel was a completely new world for me,” Webster told British Vogue last year. “This was my first opportunity to design ready-to-wear and think of how my aesthetic would translate into womenswear and I have loved the challenge.”
