Thanks for speaking to us Diana! Could you please give tell us a bit about yourself?
I am a 27-year- old girl working full-time for the clothing company Young & Reckless / Reckless Girls, with a strong passion for sneakers and running. I have a bachelors in Apparel Design / Production with a minor in Journalism. I started my blog in November ’15 and since then have received many opportunities to collaborate with companies such as Nike, adidas, Finishline, and six02. My hobbies include shopping and exploring my city, Los Angeles.
When and how did you first get into collecting sneakers?
I started collecting sneakers ever since the early 2000s. It all began when I started middle school and begged my mom to buy me my first pair of Jordan’s. It’s been a wrap since then!
How many sneakers do you own and what are your favourite pair?
This is a really great question I can’t even answer! I don’t know an exact number, but I know it’s around or over 200 pairs. It’s really difficult to pick just one, it’s kind of like asking a parent to choose their favourite child. I like to rephrase it to “What’s your favourite sneaker silhouette?” and it would have to be the Nike Flyknit Racer.
Which sneakers do you wear the most day-to- day?
Lately, I’ve been finding myself grabbing either my blackout Flyknit Racers, Prestos, or Ultra Boosts. I often opt for comfort since I’ll be up on my feet all day throughout work and then for my after work run.
Which sneakers are you excited about in 2017?
The sneakers I’m most excited about in 2017 are the Flyknit Air Max 90. I love everything Flyknit and the Air Max 90 are my favourite Air Max silhouette. When I first saw images of this sneaker, I felt like dreams could in fact come true!
Could you tell us your top 3 sneakers of the moment?
My top 3 sneakers of the moment are my reflective Ultra Boosts, Blackout Flyknit Racers, Nike LunarCharge.
